Tokio Marine HCC StudentSecure Insurance
Having the opportunity to study abroad can be an excellent experience for many students. While earning your education in a different country can be thrilling, there are also many factors involved that you should be aware of before you start making travel plans. One of the most important things to keep in mind is how you will pay for health care if your current insurance policy doesn’t pay for services while traveling or studying in a foreign country.
No one wants to end up needing urgent medical care only to find out they are unable to pay for the out-of-pocket costs. That’s why there are travel insurance plans offered to and designed for students who choose to study in a different country from their own (commonly known as student travel insurance). One of the best options currently available is the StudentSecure plan provided by Tokio Marine HCC.
What is Tokio Marine HCC’s StudentSecure Plan?
The Tokio Marine HCC StudentSecure Plan is an excellent travel insurance option for anyone choosing to study abroad. This international health plan provides coverage for individuals under the age of 65 years who are studying, teaching, or performing educational research outside their home country. Travel health insurance is a necessity for all students and educational professionals who plan on traveling to further their education or instruct others.
To obtain a student visa or enroll in specific learning institutions, international students must have some form of health insurance coverage. The StudentSecure Plan from Tokio Marine HCC is the preferred option because it meets the majority of visa requirements. That includes requirements for the Schengen visa and student visas provided by the United States government.
