When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to worry about is money. You want to get out and explore, go on adventures and play as though you’re a kid again. You can do that with RoamRight Active travel insurance, a trip insurance package that covers you, your equipment and your budget if you’re taking a vacation that revolves around sports.
RoamRight Active Plan Overview
If you’re heading on a golf or tennis vacation, for example, you may be carrying pricey equipment with you. Alternatively, you may have arranged to rent equipment at your destination. If your equipment is damaged in transit or stolen from your hotel room, the RoamRight Active plan covers you up to $2,500. If your trip canceled, the travel insurance can help you recoup your deposit or fees toward equipment rentals. Even if a delay prevents you from attending some of your scheduled activities, you’ll be able to recover any funds that you’ve already put towards them.
The RoamRight Active plan covers more than just equipment and personal items, however. It covers additional expenses related to your sports activities if you are unable to complete your travel. If you have already paid nonrefundable deposits to use sports facilities or golf courses, you can recover up to $1,000 under the RoamRight Active plan. This type of expense won’t be covered with general trip insurance. Make sure that you add this optional coverage if you’re going on a sports vacation.
This plan also covers you for trip cancellation and interruption for specific covered reasons.
Medical Coverage
You’ll also get medical protection under this plan. If you are unfortunate enough to experience an accident or illness during your vacation, RoamRight provides comfortable coverage for medical bills that you incur out of state or abroad. The package covers emergency evacuation and medically necessary repatriation as well. You might think that you’re already covered if you have your own health insurance. However, your health insurance may not cover doctor or hospital visits in other states or countries.
Specific coverage amounts depend on the type of policy that you purchase. Coverage may vary from state to state. Become familiar with the terms and conditions before purchasing any insurance policy. If you’re going to be active on your vacation, compare this plan with other trip insurance packages to determine if it’s the right one for you.
