The Private Suite Terminal LAX
Facebooktwittergoogle_pluslinkedinmail

Mention “Air Travel at LAX” at a dinner party and everyone groans. Each person seems to have a horror story to share. Common complaints are the terrible traffic when traveling through Los Angeles and to the departure terminal. Once inside LAX, navigating to the correct departure terminal just for drop-off purposes is dreadfully slow. Short-term or long-term parking involves yet another line and more time wasted waiting for the parking transportation bus.

Some LAX travelers report on the endless lines that wind like snakes to any intended destination within LAX. The most popular rides at Disneyland seem to have shorter lines and wait times than the TSA line at LAX. Once through security, a slow trudge wends through the airport to various departure gates.

The longest wait often occurs at the LAX departure gate. Unexplained delays, surly gate agents and the interminable wait after being herded into a boarding group may hold the unwelcome reward of a canceled flight.

The LAX Experience With The Private Suite Terminal

When traveling using The Private Suite Terminal, the traveler is ushered to a part of LAX that many never see. The Private Suite Terminal’s separate location allows non-traveling guests inside, unlike regular air side terminals. Families can accompany the traveling member to their luxurious suite and stay with them just like all airports used to allow.

Once in the private suite, there is a special play area for children along with a children’s toy menu. A private suite contains a private bathroom, a daybed and bedding for a quick nap, a business conference room, fully stocked food and drink pantries, the requisite big screen TV, extra clothing a soaked traveler might need and numerous additional amenities.

If, by chance, anything else is required, simply pick up the phone to ask the concierge for assistance without ever pushing a button. Phone adapters, chargers and other accessories frequently overlooked during packing are available to take at no additional charge.

Line-free security screening occurs within the private terminal. When the plane is ready to depart, a private luxury car carries the traveler directly to the plane for private boarding. While trip insurance may be necessary due to lost luggage and other issues that The Private Suite Terminal cannot control, the eight staff members assigned to each traveler make the travel experience as smooth and private as possible.

Of course, this incredible experience does not come cheap.  As of the date of this article, membership to the Private Suite Terminal currently costs $4,500 per year. Fees of $2,700 for each domestic flight and $3,000 for each international flight also apply. Non-member rates are also available. For those who cherish their privacy, the price may be well worth the experience.
